To inform the SAFEX Community of what is happening in SAFEX.

To provide a forum for readers to learn from the published articles and opinions expressed.

To encourage networking among members of the SAFEX Community.

To ensure SHE practices stay current and is shared.

Incident Notification

Members can now notify SAFEX of incidents online by completing the Notification of Incident form after accessing the restricted pages (Intranet) with their access codes.

If your Company is a SAFEX Member and you don't have your individual access codes, please request them using the Member Nomination Form. Please do NOT use anyone else's access codes

BlastON Annual Journal - 1st Edition 2020-2024 Features SAFEX

The BlastON Annual Journal, which launched its first edition in 2024, highlighted SAFEX International as a key safety-driven organization in the explosives industry. The editorial, authored by Dr. PSJ Halliday, Secretary General of SAFEX, delves into the organization's origins, growth, and its robust commitment to promoting safety, health, and environmental (HS&E) standards globally.

Founded in 1953, SAFEX has expanded over the past 70 years to include over 250 member companies worldwide. The organization remains dedicated to minimizing the impact of explosives on HS&E throughout their life cycle, and has developed a comprehensive range of services to support this mission. These include congresses, working groups, webinars, a comprehensive incident database, and eLearning resources hosted by Cranfield University.

The BlastON Journal celebrates SAFEX's efforts and the ongoing commitment of its members to achieve the Zero Harm goal through learning and information sharing within the industry.
